What better way to spend the day before Thanksgiving - BLACK WEDNESDAY - but with DJ Pete. Peter has been begging us to "pump up the jam" by letting him lay down some sweet tracks. We agree! You guys need to dance and work up an appetite before shoving tons of food into your mouths on Thanksgiving,

We asked Pete a serious question: "What music do you play? 60's, 70's or 80's? Maybe 90's? Today's Music?"

Peter simply answered, "Yes."

We take it that Pete has a wide variety of music from disco to pop and from rock to classical. Okay, maybe not classical, but he will definitely get your booty shaking!

So join us at Champions where we always have a wide variety of beers and mixed drinks. As always there is no cover and we ask that you drink responsibly! Get your holiday started off right!

Champions is excited about this one! If you never heard HAG, you are in for a treat! HAG consist of band members Chrissie Olstad, Debbie Jurek, Patti Prendergast and Rick Dvorak. And with the help of special guest from The Willies, they know how to turn the knob up to 11! Check out their MySpace page at www.myspace.com/hagrockband.

The show will start at 9pm and will keep on rockin' till 1:00 PM! Your bartender for the evening will be John Nelson. Champions will be rockin' out cold beers! GIRL'S NIGHT JEWELRY PARTY!

With Christmas right around the corner, this is the perfect opportunity to get that special gift for your mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt, girlfriend, niece, etc. I think you get the point.

GENTLEMEN, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Champions and the Ladies definitely understand that you don't like jewelry, but your girlfriend, wife or mistress might. So you should definitely bring your lady out to this event. She will love you forever. And if you're are single, just show up so you can look at the lovely ladies.

Join us at Champions for food, drinks (remember Champions is a cash bar but we do have an ATM), left over Halloween candy, and of course the LIA SOPHIA collection. We ask that you arrive at 7:30 PM to get food and drinks, but we will begin at 8PM.

When you are done with all your weekend festivities, you can keep them rolling. First of the month Monday's at Champions means it's time for...

We have absolutely no doubt in our Champion-like minds that all of our patrons are equivalent to American Idol winners. So we want to hear you hit all the high and low notes on Monday, November 3rd. Our D.J., Josh, will be kicking off the first request at 9:30 PM and your bartender, Karen, will be serving up your ice cold beers.

All domestics are $2.75 and as always Champions asks that you drink responsibly. We also ask that you keep the karaoke inside the bar and respect our neighbors by keeping it quiet when you leave the bar. We love your version of Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger," but not outside on the corner of Clark & Granville.

So come and sing your heart out on Monday. We know there's got to be one of you itching to sing "I Will Survive."

Greetings, Fellow Champions:

WE ARE GETTING MUSICAL!!!

As you may know, Champions is officially entering the music world and will be giving you live music on a regular basis. It's certainly about time, seeing as our one and only Frank Peppas (The Proprietor) is and has been an accomplished musician and singer for most of his life!

Champions will be reaching out to local talent from the Chicagoland area to come and play their hearts out for you. We have some great entertainment coming and sure hope you will be joining us in the big step we're taking. Also, we think it's a great way to meet new people and make a friend or two!

AND WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE FIRST OF THE MONTH WITH:

ONE SWEET JANE

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1st, 2008 @ 9pm

Previously with The Fabulous Janes, ONE SWEET JANE is now "flying solo, re-discovering her inner musician on her acoustic guitar." Champions is proud to have her kicking off our November music calendar and we hope everyone makes it out to see her. The show starts at 9:00 PM and there is NO COVER at the door.
